SF Bay Peninsula and Monterey Bay Sales
A bbey joined the Vintage’59 team at the end of 2018. She worked in wine production and quality control for the previous five years at such fine establishments as Dashe Cellars in Oakland, Equinox Methode Champenoise, and Bonny Doon Vineyard in Santa Cruz, CA. Her passion for wine developed working in fine-dining restaurants and event catering in North Carolina, Ohio and California while pursuing degrees in environmental and earth sciences. The applied chemistry and laboratory experience she gained in her academic studies led to a deeper understanding and curiosity about the process and chemistry of wine making and an eventual change in career trajectory. She’s historically not very good at the whole “work-life balance” thing, so having a career that she really loves has been rewarding to say the least!
She’s originally from Columbus, Ohio, and now lives in Santa Cruz, CA with her husband Ken and two dogs, Bird and Squash. In her theoretical free time, she likes to garden, cook and explore the great outdoors.
