Nick joined the V59 team in March of 2022. He grew up in the south suburbs of Chicago, and after studying both creative writing and painting in Iowa, he spent the greater part of ten years working in sales in both the golf and automotive industries.

Nick’s career in wine began while finishing up his MFA degree at Boston University, where he worked at his local bottle and cheese shop. It was during this time that he developed an appreciation for wines from small, independent growers and discovered his passion for sharing their stories. Shortly after graduating, Nick moved to the Bay Area and quickly gained experience in French wine distribution. He’s spent the last few years as the Wine Buyer and Manager at Solano Cellars.

In his free time, Nick enjoys hiking, planning backpacking trips in the Sierra Mountains, skiing, and spending time in the painting studio.
